- Use a high-quality camera or smartphone to capture images that are crisp, clear, and have excellent resolution. Wipe any smudges or dust off the lens before starting.
- Ensure proper lighting by photographing near a large bright window during the daytime. Avoid shadows or darkness falling on your dog's face. Soft, even lighting that allows you to see their eyes clearly works best.
- Ask your dog to sit and hold a favorite treat up near the camera lens to capture shots of them alert and looking right at you with a tilted glance. Time the shots for moments of direct eye contact.
